Paw Power Challenge is a recreational obstacle course event designed for dogs and their owners to participate together. These Terms & Conditions are intended to promote safety, enjoyment and responsible participation.

1. Voluntary Participation

• Participation in Paw Power Challenge is entirely voluntary.

• Participants acknowledge that the event involves physical activity, outdoor terrain and interaction with animals.

• Participants enter and take part at their own risk.

 

2. Participant Health & Fitness

• Participants confirm that they:

  • Are in good physical health

  • Have no medical condition that would make participation unsafe

• Participants are responsible for assessing their own fitness level before taking part.

• Paw Power Challenge does not provide medical screening or fitness assessments.

 

3. Dog Health & Suitability

• Dogs must be:

  • Healthy, fit and physically capable of completing obstacles

  • Free from contagious illness

  • Appropriately vaccinated

• Dogs that are injured, unwell, in season, or unsuitable for physical activity should not participate.

 

4. Dog Owner Responsibility

• Dog owners remain fully responsible for their dog at all times.

• Owners must ensure their dog is under control throughout the course.

• Paw Power Challenge, event organisers and partners are not responsible for the behaviour or actions of any dog.

 

5. Course Safety & Conduct

• Obstacles are optional — participants may skip any obstacle at their discretion.

• Participants must follow all instructions given by event staff and marshals.

• Unsafe behaviour, misuse of obstacles or failure to follow instructions may result in removal from the event.

 

6. Leashes & Equipment

• Dogs must remain leashed unless otherwise instructed by event staff.

• Only approved equipment may be used.

• No aversive tools or equipment are permitted.

 

7. Restricted & Prohibited Breeds

• Dogs classified as restricted or prohibited under UAE law are not permitted to participate.

• It is the dog owner’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable UAE regulations.

• Paw Power Challenge does not assess or verify breed classification.

 

8. Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with the event, including but not limited to:

• Slips, trips and falls

• Muscle strains or physical injury

• Contact with other participants or dogs

• Weather, terrain and environmental conditions

• Medical incidents including fainting or cardiac events

By participating, attendees voluntarily assume all such risks.

 

9. Liability

• Paw Power Challenge, event organisers, venues and partners shall not be held liable for injury, illness, loss or damage resulting from participation, except where liability cannot be excluded under UAE law.

• Participants remain responsible for their own actions and the actions of their dogs.

 

10. Right of Refusal & Removal

• Event organisers reserve the right to:

  • Refuse participation

  • Stop a participant mid-course

  • Remove any dog or person for safety reasons

No refunds will be issued in such cases.

 

11. Photography & Media

• The event may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes.

• By participating, attendees consent to the use of images or footage in which they or their dogs may appear.

 

12. Amendments

• Paw Power Challenge reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

• The latest version will be published on the official website.
